About Clarilab
Clarilab helps people keep their lab reports and prescriptions in one private place, understand each value in plain language and see how results change over time. It's available as a web app today, with an iPhone app coming soon.
Who makes it
Clarilab is built and run by Uttam Upadhyay, an independent developer in India. It's a small, independent product: no advertising, no selling of data, and a free plan that covers everything except extra AI summaries.
What Clarilab is, and isn't
- It's a tool for organising and understanding your own reports, and for preparing for doctor visits.
- It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice.
- AI summaries are generated automatically and can make mistakes. Always check them against your original report and discuss results with your doctor.
How the test guide is written
- The test guide is written by the Clarilab team in plain language, using commonly published reference ranges and clinical guidance for adults.
- It is kept deliberately general and conservative. Every lab prints its own reference range, and that range always comes first.
- The same content is used on this website, in the web app and in the iPhone app, so they always match.
- Medical review: the guide has not yet been reviewed by a doctor or other qualified health professional. We intend to have it reviewed, and reviewers will be named on each page.
- Each page shows the date it was last updated.
